Independence Day

Have a wonderful Independence Day!!
While I sit here, fully aware I live in a dictatorship.
Where the Treat Keeper calls all the shots.
And makes unrealistic rules "for my own good."

Yeah, you go ahead and celebrate your independence...
I'll just site here quietly. Because I'm grounded.

Happy Independence Day to you too, Kukka and Brach!

I have to ask you, though: Is it really such a horrible dictatorship when the humans feed you, give you treats, and scoop your poop? I mean, does life really get any better? Sure, you could have Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise scooping it for you, but would it be the love of your human pet?

Just something to think about... ;)

Kukka-Maria as one of the most independent cats I know, it offends me that you are grounded for the holiday. We MUST do something about this!

I like your hat an flag, Kukka. Is Brach grounded too?

Kukka my dear, you still live in America, you are free. But think of what it would be like if you didn't have your bean mom looking out for your welfare. You would be eating my and bugs.

You're grounded? That sucks.

Happy Independence day to you too, although I hate this holiday. All the crash-a-booms really drive me nuts.

You the most independent spirt amongst us, grounded? OH dear. Not over that silly little misunderstanding about posting your Momma's phone number was it? It couldn't have been something that trivial? There must be a way to sway your capturer! FREE KUKKA from her bondage!

It's not right that you're grounded on such an independence day. Especially when you haf all the right stuff to show your patriotism! It's a day of freedom, freedom to control and rule the house in any way you desire.

Wow, and we always thought cats had the great life. We didn't realize that humans made rules for cats ... most of the cats we have known must ignore the rules!
We love your hat and flag too. Your picture made Mom smile.
